Weirton, WV…Portrait Photographer | Family Portraits

We’ll be posting some favorite images from our year over the next few days. We’ll be thinking of everyone as we FINALLY enjoy some R & R with our children in the Bahamas 🙂   SO…in honor of Family, I’ll start with a FUN family shoot we had this fall 🙂

Steubenville, OH Portrait Photographer | Family Portraits

We had a wonderful time photographing a set of five granddaughters yesterday and this image will be a gift to their grandma for Christmas – and what a lovely idea it is!  [I don’t think grandma follows my blog just yet so we should be safe…]  Sometimes the easiest gifts are the most cherished.  We’ve had many calls for Christmas portraits just in the past two weeks so it’s certainly on everyone’s mind.  A gift of portraiture is timeless – it helps record a happy moment in our lives while preserving the memory of how we looked too.  Kudos ladies for such a wonderful gift idea for grandma!

Tomorrow we have the opportunity to work – yet again – with one of our 2012 brides!   Having just done an e-session (engagement shoot) with Julie and her fiance (photo above <3), she discovered she LOVES to be in front of the camera!   [Just kidding Julie – we’re glad you enjoy working with us.]   We look forward to shooting some family Christmas photos with her [and the rest of her gang] tomorrow.   What I love about this is that it gives us a unique opportunity to REALLY get to know our couples.   By the time we shoot their wedding next year, we’ll know them extremely well. What a benefit to have someone you are completely comfortable with shooting you on your wedding day. Can’t wait until tomorrow!   Check back later for some preview pics 🙂

Pittsburgh, PA Wedding Photographer…Dominique + Cedrice | Wedding

Pittsburgh is definitely a great city for a wedding and what a fantastic wedding we had this weekend! The wedding was at Sanctuary of Praise church and if you don’t feel the Spirit in THIS church, well, then – something’s wrong. We knew it would be special when the rehearsal started with a group prayer involving 40 of us holding hands. I love those kinds of moments where I feel so connected with our clients! The reception was held at the St. Nicholas Orthodox Church banquet hall – and the food was amazing. Sincere thanks to Dominique & Ced (and all their family and friends) for allowing us the opportunity to share in their special day – and we’d also like to thank Pastors Leonard & Adrienne and their awesome musicians for providing one of the most uplifting, heartfelt services we’ve ever attended!!

Hello world!

Hi everyone!  Welcome to my new blog/web site.  No longer will our website and blog be separate – they are now one in the same!  What this means is that we are fully accessible on smart phones – no longer having a flash website.  No more waiting to see images until you can get to a computer.  We are, of course, still on Facebook, Twitter and Google+

In the meantime, please pardon the lack of content while we update all the little nooks and crannies our new blog-site has to offer.  If you’d like to see some samples of our work, please visit our Facebook page [https://www.facebook.com/tamarascp] and look through our photo albums.
