Boys will be boys! At least I know where my kids (and a few others) are tonight. This is their form of fun and entertainment….stripping the gun powder off of fireworks and sparklers to make one big boomer…..look out world…
A few weeks ago we had the pleasure of shooting engagements photos for Stephanie and Preston in Pittsburgh, PA. Pittsburgh’s a GREAT place to shoot! This time we began at the Gateway Towers (http://www.gatewaytowerspittsburgh.com/) – a fabulous, 3000+ sq ft. 26th floor penthouse suite that overlooks PNC Park and the Heinz Field (what a view for evening fireworks!). Their shoot was during the Pittsburgh Art Festival so manuevering downtown was a little tricky. We had a gorgeous day and finished our shoot at the HPY Club (http://www.alleghenyhypclub.com/) which turned out to be a gem of a spot for portraits! Stephanie and Preston are getting married in September at the Circuit Center Ballroom and we cannot wait to work with this great looking couple again!
Erika & Justin tied the knot on a beautiful sunny Saturday at St. Phillips Church in Crafton, PA. (http://www.saintphilipchurch.org/) This beautiful church is steeped in history and had some wonderful spots for photos! The reception was held at the Hilton Garden Inn located in Canonsburg, PA (http://www.hiltongardeninn.com/en/gi/hotels/index.jhtml?ctyhocn=PITSPGI) What a great couple and again, we have been so lucky to work with fabulous families as well and we had a great time with everyone. Erika was very elegant in her halter-style gown and had all the support from her Magee-Women’s Hospital friends. Justin, who we’ve been lucky to know for three years now, was the perfect groom who wears a tux well! We offered to photograph their Cancun, Mexico honeymoon but I think they preferred NO paparazzi on their getaway…..ONE of these days a couple will take us up on our offer!! Here are a few photos from their special day. Congrats to the happy couple!
We had an amazing weekend shooting the wedding of Bryan & Alina and Temple Emanuel of South Hills, PA on Memorial Day Weekend. [http://www.templeemanuelpgh.org/] We knew when me initially met with this great couple that they were special and it turned out to be a fabulous wedding. Several times during the day I was moved to tears by the beauty of the many traditions celebrated on their wedding day. Not only were they wonderful to work with, but their families and friends were great too! Here are a few photos from their day. Their reception was held at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott where everyone had a fantastic time!
